News – Fins end preseason with a 25-27 loss

Miami must get ready for Buffalo and the start of the regular season.
Miami coach Tony Sparano, displeased with his first team players’ performance last week, left them in for three series in tonight’s game at Dallas. I get the feeling he is still displeased.
The offensive line looked pathetic at times. QB Chad Henne looked somewhat pedestrian. And CB Sean Smith was once again burned for a long TD pass.
To make matters worse, the Cowboys did not play their starters. So Miami’s struggles came against the Dallas second and third team players.
Also, LT Jake Long left with a knee injury, giving Miami fans a huge scare. But Long remained on the sideline throughtout the game, and was seen smiling after the game was over. Hopefully Long will be fine for next week’s opener against Buffalo.
Tonight’s poor play, without poor weather and against second and third stringers does raise some concerns. With a little over a week to go until the season opening game, Miami still seems to have some questions that have not yet been answered.
